Dear Human Resource, I am writing in regards to the position of Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law, Maastricht University. I am immensely enthusiastic about this position and strongly believe that I have the skills and experience required for the job. I have a strong academic background, having completed my LLM in International and European Law at the University of Amsterdam. I have also worked as a research assistant at the Amsterdam Center for International Law. My research interests lie in the fields of human rights and international law, which makes me the perfect candidate for this position. In addition to my academic credentials, I am also a experienced lawyer, having worked as a legal advisor for the Dutch government.
