I am writing in regards to the position for Assistant Professor of Applied Biomaterials. I am excited about this opportunity and feel that my skills and experience would make me the perfect candidate for the role.
I am a Ph.D. in chemical engineering and have experience in the area of biomaterials. I am especially interested in microbial synthesis or persistence as it relates to biomaterials, bioinspired and/or stimuli-responsive therapeutic delivery, metallic materials, extracellular matrix biology, or biosensors. I believe my skills and experience would make me a valuable asset to the Faculty of Dentistry.
In addition to my research experience, I am also experienced in teaching and have a strong interest in contributing to undergraduate and graduate teaching in the Faculty of Dentistry. I am also excited about the opportunity to engage in graduate student supervision.
I am confident that I have the skills and experience necessary to be a successful candidate for the position of Assistant Professor of Applied Biomaterials. I am eager to utilize my skills and experience in a role that will contribute to the Faculty of Dentistry.
