Facing History Cover Letter

Dear Facing History, I am writing in regards to the Manager, Digital Educator Support and Archivist position that Mariel Gonzales holds with your company. I am interested in applying for this position as it seems like a perfect match for my skills and interests. I have a degree in History from the University of California, Berkeley and a Masters in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University. I have worked as an archivist for the past 10 years, most recently at the California State Archives. In my role there, I was responsible for managing digital collections, providing reference and research assistance to the public, and conducting outreach to schools and community groups. I am extremely passionate about history and education, and I believe that my experience and skills would make me an excellent fit for this position. I am excited about the opportunity to work with Mariel and the rest of the Facing History team to support educators and help promote the use of digital resources in the classroom.
