These experiences have honed my skills in data analysis, GIS, and project management. What attracted me to this particular position at Evidence Action is the company's mission of providing safe water access to communities in need. I have a strong background in GIS analysis with proficiency in ArcGIS software. I am also skilled in data analysis with R, Python, and MS Excel. My experience in data entry, sorting, and organization has equipped me with excellent attention to detail, a critical skill in data management. Additionally, I have a strong understanding of hydrological modeling, watershed management, and the use of GIS and remote sensing in water resources. In terms of soft skills, I am a team player with excellent interpersonal skills. I have the ability to collaborate with geographically dispersed teams and adapt to changing project requirements. My proactive attitude and ability to take initiative have also been commended by my previous employers. I am also an excellent communicator, with strong written and verbal skills in English, Swahili, and Kikuyu. Moreover, I have a keen interest in learning and continuously improving my skills. I am passionate about reading nature-based magazines and short stories, traveling, and keeping up with current issues in hydrology and water resources management. These hobbies have enhanced my knowledge and understanding of the field, making me a well-rounded professional. I am particularly interested in this position because it provides an opportunity to work within a global team and contribute to the organization's objectives at a national and international level.
