We seek applicants with research and teaching interests related to materials/tribology including
but not limited to Tribology
Polymers and Polymer Processing
Computational Tribology/Computational Materials Science
Metallurgy
Metal Forming Tribology
Nanomaterials and Composite/Hybrid Materials. Successful candidates will be expected to develop an externally funded research program that includes fundamental and/or applied research. The candidate should be able to teach and develop courses in the area of tribology and materials at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. An earned doctorate in Mechanical or Materials Engineering or a closely related field is required. Candidates must demonstrate experience with or a commitment to diversity and inclusion..
