Dear Hiring Manager, I am writing to apply for the position of Targeted Housing Adviser at Encompass LATC. I have experience working in the housing sector, both in a front-line capacity and in policy and research. In my current role as a Housing Officer at the City of Yarra, I work with a range of clients, including those who are experiencing homelessness, those at risk of eviction, and those with complex needs. I have a thorough understanding of the Victorian residential tenancy laws and have successfully advocated on behalf of my clients to achieve positive outcomes. I am a highly organised and efficient worker, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. I am confident in my ability to build rapport with clients, to understand their needs and to provide them with the best possible advice and support. I am also comfortable working collaboratively with other agencies to ensure that my clients receive the comprehensive care that they need.
