My name is Kamvelihle Zana and I have been working in the education field for over five years. Throughout my career, I have gained a diverse set of skills that make me well-suited for this role. As an organized and administrative individual, I am able to effectively manage multiple tasks and responsibilities. I am also a patient and team player, always willing to lend a helping hand and work collaboratively with my colleagues. My people skills and excellent communication abilities allow me to effectively connect with students, parents, and fellow educators.
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to speak multiple languages. I am fluent in English, Afrikaans, and Xhosa, which has proven to be incredibly beneficial in my previous teaching positions. Being multilingual allows me to connect with a diverse range of students and create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment. I am also a lifelong learner, always seeking out new opportunities to expand my knowledge and improve my teaching techniques.
What particularly drew me to this position at Disa Primary Bonteheawel is the school's commitment to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for both students and teachers. Furthermore, I am highly proficient in computers and Google applications, which are essential skills for modern-day educators. I am currently based in Cape Town, Western Cape, and would prefer to work in the same location. I am familiar with the area and have a strong connection to the community.
