Devizes Museum Cover Letter

Dear Whom it May Concern, I am writing to apply for the position of Community Curator at Devizes Museum. I am a recent graduate of the History of Art MA at the University of Oxford, and I have a keen interest in museum education and outreach. I believe that museums have a vital role to play in engaging with and educating their local communities, and I would love to be a part of this at Devizes Museum. I have experience of working with children and young people in a museum setting, through my work as a teaching assistant at the Ashmolean Museum and as a volunteer at the Science Museum. I am confident and experienced in delivering talks and workshops, and I am passionate about making history and art accessible to everyone. I am a hard-working and motivated individual, and I am confident that I would be a valuable asset to the team at Devizes Museum.
