Dear Derbyshire Wildlife Trust, I am writing in regards to the Nature Recovery Advisor Trainee position that is currently available. I am immensely passionate about nature conservation and firmly believe that I have the skills and experience required for this role. During my degree, I completed a number of reports and management plans related to species recovery. My dissertation was focused on habitat management and I thoroughly enjoyed the research involved. I am confident that I could utilise the knowledge I gained during my degree in this role. I am experienced in conducting fauna and flora surveys, monitoring and studying sites. I am eager to learn and develop new skills and rewilding is a particular passion of mine. I believe that I could be a valuable asset to Derbyshire Wildlife Trust and would love the opportunity to utilise my skills in a practical setting.
