Dept. Dietetics And Nutritional Science, University Of Alberta Cover Letter

Dear HR Manager, I am writing to apply for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor, Dietetics and Nutritional Science at the University of Alberta. I am a qualified dietitian with a PhD in Nutrition from the University of California, Davis. I have worked as a Clinical Dietitian in a hospital setting for 10 years and have been teaching Nutrition at the college level for the past 5 years. I am also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) and have a keen interest in integrative nutrition. I am passionate about teaching and helping others to improve their health and wellbeing. I believe that my qualifications, experience and skills make me the perfect candidate for this position. In my current role as a lecturer at XYZ University, I teach a range of Nutrition and Dietetics courses. I am also responsible for developing and delivering the curriculum, as well as assessing and evaluating student progress. I have gained a great deal of experience in working with students from diverse backgrounds and am confident that I can manage a large class size.
