Dear Associate Professor Nanna Bonde Thylstrup, I am interested in applying for the postdoc positions at the Department of Arts and Cultural Studies. I am a recent PhD graduate in anthropology and I have worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Copenhagen. I am familiar with the department and the research that is conducted here. I am also familiar with the Danish cultural scene and I have worked with Danish artists and cultural institutions. I am interested in the postdoc positions because they offer the opportunity to conduct research on a topic of my own choice. I am particularly interested in the arts and cultural scene in Denmark and I would like to conduct research on how the arts and culture are changing in Denmark. I am also interested in how the arts and culture are changing in other countries, and I would like to compare the Danish scene with other scenes in Europe and the United States. I am confident that I have the skills and experience that are required for the postdoc positions. I am a good communicator and I am able to work independently. I am also familiar with the Danish language and culture. I am confident that I can make a valuable contribution to the research that is conducted at the Department of Arts and Cultural Studies.
