Dear Recruitment Team,
I am writing to express my interest in the SMC HPM Consultant position at Management Sciences for Health (MSH). As a highly skilled and experienced healthcare professional with a background in pharmacy and business administration, I am confident in my ability to excel in this role and contribute to the success of MSH.
What excites me the most about this particular position is the opportunity to optimize supply chain functions during the SMC implementation cycles. With my Bachelor of Pharmacy degree, Doctor of Pharmacy degree, and MBA, I have a strong understanding of pharmaceuticals and supply chain management. I am also equipped with the necessary skills to support micro-planning, daily efficiency review, and reconciliation of administered SPAQ in the two supported states of Katsina and Taraba. Moreover, my experience in data collection and maintenance, as well as report writing, makes me an ideal candidate for this role.
I have been following MSH for some time now and have always been impressed by the organization's commitment to improving healthcare systems in developing countries. The fact that MSH is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity and inclusivity in the workplace is also something that resonates with me. I firmly believe that every individual, regardless of their background, should have access to quality healthcare, and I am passionate about being a part of an organization that shares the same values.
In terms of my skills and qualifications, I have a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree and am currently pursuing a Masters degree, which I believe will be an advantage in this role. I have previous experience in malaria programming and have actively participated in SMC campaigns, which has given me a thorough understanding of the process and requirements. I am confident in my ability to support health facility and store assessments, ensure personnel selection criteria are adhered to, and provide support to the implementing states on inventory management of SMC commodities at the LGA level. I am also well-versed in data collection and analysis and have a keen eye for detail, which will be crucial in tracking transactions and maintaining accurate records of valuable health facility-level information.
As a part-time role, I am pleased to inform you that I am available to work in both Katsina and Taraba, which are the preferred locations for this position. I am excited about the opportunity to work closely with the state teams and central team to analyze daily reconciliation reports, inform stock status, and ensure uninterrupted supply of SMC products. Additionally, I am eager to contribute to the printing of training materials and daily reconciliation tools, as well as support the conduct of SMC training in the supported states.
In addition to my skills and qualifications, I am a team player, a quick learner, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. I am also proficient in using various inventory management tools and am familiar with the Global Fund's guidelines and regulations.
I am confident that my skills, experience, and passion for improving healthcare systems align with MSH's mission and values. I am eager to bring my expertise to the organization and make a meaningful impact in the communities MSH serves.
Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss my qualifications further and how I can contribute to the success of MSH as the SMC HPM Consultant. Please find my resume attached for your review.
Sincerely,
