Dear Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe,
I am interested in applying for the Max Kampelman Summer Fellowship position. This position interests me because it is a chance to learn about U.S. foreign policy and to work on issues that are important to the country. Additionally, I would be able to work with a variety of people, which would be a great opportunity to learn more about the inner workings of the government.
I am a recent graduate of the University of XYZ, where I majored in political science and minored in history. I have a strong interest in international relations and have taken many courses on the topic. I am also proficient in Spanish, which I believe would be an asset in this position. In addition to my academic qualifications, I have also interned with Congressman XYZ, where I gained valuable experience working on foreign policy issues.
I believe that I am a strong candidate for this position and would be a valuable asset to your team. I am eager to learn and am committed to working hard to make a positive contribution to the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss my qualifications further with you and look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Kyle Omondi
