Dear Head Human Resources, I am interested in applying for the position of Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in English Communication and Experiential Learning at the College of General Education, University of Doha. This particular position interests me because of my background in linguistics and my experience teaching English as a foreign language. I am a native speaker of English and have a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Cambridge. I have over 10 years' experience teaching English to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced. I have also worked as a language consultant for a number of companies, helping them to develop their communication strategies. In addition to my teaching and consulting experience, I have a strong background in research, having published a number of papers in leading linguistics journals. I am confident that I have the skills and experience required for this position and I would be a valuable asset to the College of General Education.
