Preparing planners report for council noting and going on site visits and dealing with general public queries related to Land use management. Responsible for compiling Pre- feasibility/Technical reports (for comments from line departments) which also consisted of GIS maps production. Responsible for creating shape files for council submission for CSIR Guided socio & economic amenities that come with social housing proposed dwelling units. Assist in Facilitating preliminary feasibility studies for potential Social and GAP/ affordable housing projects. Liaising with legal section on the ownership and type of ownership of the property or land. Facilitate valuation of properties for the land release process to be executed with the correct market value numbers. Conduct site inspection on potential projects in order to increase our pipeline projects. My duties consist compiling Town planning reports/memorandums for approval at relevant authority (Local Municipality) for the following Town Planning applications; Rezoning's
Subdivisions and Consolidations
Township Establishment
Excision of agricultural holdings land. furthermore my duties include project managing the supporting documents/studies required by the above mentioned reports such as Environmental impact studies(E.I.A)
Traffic Impact studies(T.I.A)
Bulk Infrastructure (services) reports and other supporting studies which are outsourced to be included in the town planning reports.
