To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to apply for the position of PhD Administrator (CDA/Replacement) RSS Career Development Assignment (CDA) at Carleton University. I am a pervious PhD student and am familiar with the requirements of PhD students. I have on campus work experience and am familiar with the PhD program. I have experience in IT services, organizing, teamwork, working under pressure, and experience in TA, RA, and holding two masters. I am interested in this position because it offers an opportunity to administer the PhD program and provide administrative support to the Associate Director (PhD program). In this role, I would be able to meet with prospective PhD students, assist with the processing of applications to the PhD program, and coordinate the various aspects of the PhD program. I would also be responsible for organizing and maintaining the schedule of research presentations by faculty and doctoral students throughout the academic year, coordinating TA and RA assignments for both MA and PhD students, compiling PhD student applications for OGS and SSHRC awards, compiling MA and PhD applications for endowed awards twice a year, assisting with receptionist duties, and performing other related duties as required. I am confident that I have the skills and experience necessary for this role and I am eager to put my skills to work in this capacity.
