Responsibilities: The Officer of Doping Control Unit is responsible for the implementation and administration of Anti-Doping protocols and procedures. This role involves organizing testing and conferences
ensuring compliance with regulations FIFA Anti-Doping Regulations and WADA Code
and promoting education and awareness around Anti-Doping Matters in Football in Africa. Testing Operations: Organizing in-competition and out-of-competition doping tests in accordance with FIFA Anti-Doping Regulations and WADA Code. Ensure that the samples have been delivered to WADA Accredited Laboratories according to standard procedures to ensure integrity and chain of custody. Results management Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of testing activities
including sample collection and results. Prepare and submit reports on testing outcomes and related activities to the Head of Anti-Doping Unit. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all testing procedures comply with World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Code and FIFA Anti-Doping regulations. Stay updated on changes in Anti-Doping regulations and guidelines. Stakeholder Education: Assist in the development and delivery of educational programs for athletes

and National Associations regarding Anti-Doping practices and policies. Provide guidance and support to stakeholders regarding doping control procedures. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with CAF Doping Control Officers to ensure efficient operations. Liaise with external agencies
laboratories
and sporting organizations as needed. Result Management: Gather relevant information of the suspected Anti-Doping violations. Work closely with the CAF disciplinary Board Follow up on the decisions of any Anti-Doping violations as directed. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the evaluation and enhancement of doping control procedures and practices. Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with Anti-Doping trends and best practices. Requirements (profile): Bachelor’s degree in health sciences
or a related field preferred. Additional Studies in Football (ex: FIFA Masters
etc.) is an advantage. Previous experience in Anti-Doping
sports administration
or a related field is advantageous but not required. Familiarity with Anti-Doping
FIFA regulations and WADA Code is preferred. Fluent in English and/or French language both written and spoken is a must; command of any other CAF language (English
French & Arabic) language is an advantage. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Excellent communication skills
both written and verbal. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Computer skills: Microsoft office
