Dear BTWF,
I am writing to express my strong interest in the Research Intern position at Born This Way Foundation. My name is Daniel and I am a recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I am passionate about using my skills in counseling and research to make a positive impact in the world, which is why I am drawn to the work of your foundation.
What particularly caught my attention about this position is the opportunity to combine my love for research and my desire to help others. The mission of Born This Way Foundation to promote mental health and wellness, and to create a kinder and braver world, resonates deeply with me. I have always been a strong advocate for mental health and believe that research plays a crucial role in understanding and addressing mental health issues.
As a research intern, I am excited about the opportunity to support your team in conducting important research on mental health and wellness. Through my coursework and internships, I have developed strong research skills, including data collection, analysis, and presentation. I am also proficient in using statistical software such as SPSS and Excel. I am confident that I can bring a fresh perspective and contribute to the success of your research projects.
In addition to my research skills, I have also gained valuable experience in counseling through my volunteer work at a local crisis hotline. This experience has taught me how to effectively communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds and provide support in a compassionate and nonjudgmental manner. I believe this skill will be invaluable in conducting research with participants and analyzing their responses with empathy and understanding.
As an intern, I am eager to learn and take on new challenges. I am a quick learner and have a strong work ethic, which I believe will make me a valuable addition to your team. I am also highly organized and detail-oriented, which I believe will be beneficial in managing research data and ensuring the accuracy of results.
While I am open to working in an office setting, I would prefer a remote internship at this time. This will allow me to fully focus on my responsibilities and contribute to the foundation's work without any distractions. Moreover, as someone who enjoys working independently, I am confident in my ability to excel in a remote setting.
Apart from the skills and experience highlighted above, I am also passionate about the values and initiatives of Born This Way Foundation. I admire the foundation's commitment to promoting kindness, inclusivity, and mental health awareness. I have been following your work for quite some time and have been inspired by the impact you have made in the lives of young people. I believe that my values align perfectly with the foundation's mission and I am eager to be a part of the team that is working towards creating a kinder and braver world.
I am also drawn to the opportunity to work with a diverse and inclusive team. I believe that diversity brings new perspectives and ideas, and I am excited about the chance to collaborate with individuals from different backgrounds and experiences. I am confident that I will not only contribute to the team but also learn from my colleagues during my time as an intern.
In addition to my skills and passion, I am also committed to personal and professional growth. I am always seeking new opportunities to learn and develop my skills, and I am confident that Born This Way Foundation will provide me with a challenging and rewarding learning experience. I am eager to take on new responsibilities and contribute to the foundation's work in any way I can.
Thank you for considering my application for the Research Intern position at Born This Way Foundation. I am excited about the prospect of joining your team and contributing to your mission.
