I have also gained valuable knowledge and skills in creating inclusive and supportive environments for children and their families. One of my greatest strengths is my ability to provide support to parents and pupils dealing with bereavement. I understand the sensitivity and emotional toll of such situations and I have the empathy and patience to listen and offer guidance. In my previous role, I have worked closely with parents who have an unwell child and provided them with the necessary emotional support and resources. My experience has taught me the importance of being a compassionate and understanding listener, and I am confident that I can bring this skill to the role of Family Engagement Officer at Bishop Gore. In addition, I have also worked with teenagers in social services and have helped organize holidays for them. This experience has taught me the importance of providing young people with positive and enriching experiences, especially those who may be facing challenges in their personal lives. Furthermore, my experience at Bishop Gore has also exposed me to the diverse needs and challenges faced by families and children.
