I am a recent graduate of the surveying program at XYZ University and I am excited to begin my career in the surveying field. I have excellent time management skills and I am very enthusiastic and committed to working with a leading team of professionals. I have experience in undertaking surveying field duties including setting up and operating digital levels GNSS (base station and rover unit) total stations and robotic total stations. I have used these skills in various settings including construction sites, new subdivisions, internal/external building surveys and rural and urban surveys. I have also worked on jobs involving topographical surveying, monitoring construction and boundary set-out, cadastral work, as-builts and high-accuracy building set-out. I have carried out pre and post survey calculations, searched and investigated survey data, designed projects and completed cadastral projects ready for input into LINZ. I have also had experience communicating with a range of stakeholders including clients, construction and project managers and on-site labourers. I am interested in this particular position as I feel that it would be a great opportunity to utilise my skills and experience in a challenging and rewarding role.
