a rare opportunity has arisen for a funeral assistant to join our team. As a funeral assistant you will be helping funeral directors prepare for funeral services
assisting them at the funerals
helping transport deceased people
preparing caskets
performing various administration activities and supporting our team where required. Hours are 8.30am to 5pm
Monday to Friday
and on call work will be required every one in three weeks (work outside of normal 9am to 5pm hours). You will be personable
friendly
very empathetic
a team player and have excellent computer skills. You will possess a drive to help people and make sure that they are looked after in their time of need. You will also be physically fit as the job can involve lifting heavy weight. A clean driver’s license is required. Experience in a funeral home is not required
however
a little bit of life experience goes a long way in assisting families though this journey. Salary dependent on experience
