Dear Hiring Manager, I am writing in regards to the theatre production placement at Arcola Theatre. I am immensely enthusiastic about this opportunity and firmly believe that I have the skillset required to excel in this role. Firstly, I have a great passion for theatre and the performing arts. This has been a lifelong interest of mine and I have been lucky enough to have had some great experiences in this field. I have worked as a production assistant on a number of small-scale theatre productions and have also had the opportunity to perform on stage myself. This has given me a great insight into the workings of a theatre production and I am confident that I could use this knowledge to great effect in the role at Arcola Theatre. Secondly, I have excellent organisational and communication skills. Theatre production is a highly collaborative process and being able to effectively communicate and work with others is essential. I have no problem taking direction and following instructions, but am also confident enough to take initiative and offer my own ideas when needed. Lastly, I am a very hard worker and am always willing to go the extra mile to get the job done.
