the successful candidate will: Teach an allocated timetable across the school (Nursery to Year 6) in accordance with the requirements of the school. Carry out the professional duties of the role under the direction of the Headmaster and Senior Leadership Team and to lead teams and individuals in line with specific areas of responsibility. Undertake administrative and pastoral duties in order to ensure the wellbeing and safeguarding of the children. In collaboration with the Assistant Head Academic
liaise with external companies and agencies to aid the promotion and enhancement of the curriculum through resources
programmes and services. Lead on the creation and implementation of the equality and diversity academic vision for the school and to lead on the equality and diversity curriculum design and review from Nursery to Year 6 by working with the Assistant Head Academic and Heads of Departments. Demonstrate and share good practice with all colleagues
providing excellent leadership across the school. Be a positive team player and member of the Senior Leadership Team
working in close collaboration with SLT and all members of the school community. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism by publically supporting all decisions agreed at Senior Leadership Meetings and discussions with leaders. Follow and adhere to all school policies

enhance and support children’s agency by overseeing the school’s ‘Pupil Voice’ and leading the School Council meetings – this will require taking minutes of meetings and communicating the Pupil Voice to the rest of the Alpha Community. lead the Charity Prefect agenda and encourage charity for all through activities and fund raising events which reflect our own community
as well as national and international charitable events. Offer full support to all aspects of the school
showing a commitment that serves as an example for others by attending relevant school events and activities. Prepare and lead staff training and INSET
