The Job This position requires very good knowledge of deep learning, computer vision, and 3D computations. 3D computations include good familiarity with camera sensors, distortion, and calibration procedures. We are ideally interested in a graduate intern (e.g. A master’s student or a PhD student) with their focus on 3D computer vision. Research experience or knowledge in 3D body pose estimation and/or 3D hand pose estimation & tracking over time would be a big plus. Undergraduate candidates would be considered as well if they show exceptional qualifications and are free to have a full-time internship for the agreed upon internship period. The candidate will work closely with members of the ML team in Cairo on a day-to-day basis and is expected to present their results to a broader group of developers and researchers in the Cairo, Sweden, and the US Smart Eye offices. The internship is expected to be a paid full-time internship that spans at least four months to a maximum of six months, subject to the agreement between the approved candidate and the hiring team during the interviewing process. Qualifications: Ideally you are a master’s / PhD student located in Cairo and seeking a strong internship, with research focused on 3D computer vision. Undergraduate candidates would be considered as well if they show exceptional qualifications and are available to have a full-time internship for the agreed upon internship period. You must have very good python skills, including Pytorch or TensorFlow skills. You should have good C++ coding skills.
