and foster the ability to better respond to market trends. About the role This role ensures the team delivers excellence by testing the data coming into and flowing through the solution. Responsibilities: Design
develop and execute complex test cases for Functional/Non-functional testing
integration and regression testing
within the Data Provisioning workstream. Managing all phases of the software testing process in creating test cases
defect management process including raising defects
classification and reporting. Collaborate with DevOps team
business analysts
test team to understand and examine the user stories and business requirements for validity and feasibility. Participating in Agile ceremonies including daily stand up
sprint planning and retrospective meetings. Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Computer science
IT or a related field (highly desirable) ISTQB or comparable certification (Desirable) Technical skills: Strong expertise in testing activities such as design and execute test cases (includes analysing requirements at an early stage of development to write test cases)
performing system
integration
performance testing
compatibility and end to end testing. Strong expertise in Postman or similar tools. Providing detailed analysis of all testing carried out on the environment ensuring all bugs and issues are logged
tracked and reported during all phases of testing. Demonstrated experience in using tools like Azure DevOps
Confluence and Jira. Prior experience working on testing within a data focused team
and API testing are both highly desirable. Experience with automation tools and frameworks (selenium based technologies) Experience in deployment of front-end testing and development. Project testing experience using industry-standard test methodologies and tools. Experience in Agile Development environments. Minimum of 6 years’ experience in testing Enterprise
line-of-business solutions Soft Skills: Creation of test cases using own in-depth technical analysis of both functional and non- functional specifications. Reports on system quality and collects metrics on test cases and review tests results
modifying tests if necessary. Highly developed communication skills
both written and verbal
