Hello, To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to apply for the Litigation Fellowship with AARP Foundation. This position is of great interest to me, as it offers the opportunity to work on a variety of legal issues and to have a direct impact on the lives of older Americans. I am a recent law graduate from XYZ Law School and have a strong interest in elder law and advocacy. During my time in law school, I interned with the Legal Services Corporation, where I assisted low-income seniors with a variety of legal issues, including housing, Medicare, and Social Security. I also volunteered with the elder law clinic at my law school, where I helped seniors with estate planning and other matters. My experience with seniors has given me a deep understanding of the unique challenges they face and has inspired me to want to help them protect their rights. I believe that my skills and experience make me an ideal candidate for this position. In addition to my work with seniors, I have also gained valuable experience through my internships with the XYZ Public Defender’s Office and the XYZ District Attorney’s Office. These experiences have given me a well-rounded view of the criminal justice system and have developed my litigation skills.
