Responsibilities include performing technical tax review and approval of tax returns and governmental tax examinations of any complexity, managing larger tax returns, participating in client meetings and tax planning, assisting in tax planning and preparing complex business returns, managing client relationships, representing clients before taxing authorities, developing staff, and participating in practice development efforts.

The Manager is responsible for the efficient, accurate, complete, and timely preparation of all clients’ tax returns. The Manager makes decisions on all but the most unusual tax situations. Responsibilities include performing technical tax review and approval of all tax returns and governmental tax examinations, managing larger tax returns, advising clients with advanced technical skills, ensuring timely and accurate tax return processing, participating in client meetings and tax planning, acting as a resource for tax staff, supervising and developing tax preparers, and representing clients before taxing authorities. The role also involves ensuring smooth workflow, billing, research, and participating in practice development and community activities.
