This is a hands-on role for someone who understands earthwork deeply, not just from a drawing, but from having been on the site while it happens. Responsibilities include developing and reviewing grading plans, cut/fill calculations, and earthwork designs; translating designs into execution plans compatible with automated and remote-controlled equipment; performing site analysis including topographic surveys, soil considerations, drainage, and erosion control planning; collaborating with field operations, equipment operators, and automation/software teams; monitoring and verifying earthwork progress against design specifications; supporting permitting, compliance, and coordination with civil authorities and stakeholders; and feeding real-world site data back into TerraFirma's planning and execution systems.
