The Field Application Engineer (FAE) will provide technical, hands-on expertise to support all business opportunities for Phoenix Contact products and applications directly associated with the automation, control and networking portfolio used within the industrial automation and electronics industry. The FAE will collaborate with regional sales managers, strategic account managers, sales engineers, account development specialists, and field application engineering teams, to utilize a consultative approach with all customers to support their individual needs and expand market penetration. The role involves working closely with Account-Based Sales, Channel Management, and Application Engineering & Projects Sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets. This position covers Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico. Responsibilities include increasing sales revenue, supporting sales activities, acting as technical representative, developing sales tools, providing customer insights, driving solutions, meeting sales quotas, maintaining relationships, utilizing CRM systems, delivering product presentations, and maintaining product knowledge. Qualifications include a four-year degree (engineering preferred), at least 3 years of sales or marketing experience in automation and industrial control, effective communication skills, and the ability to travel and lift up to 50 lbs.
