Level 2 Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) Responsibilities include supporting senior ISSOs, maintaining documentation, evaluating security solutions, configuration management, developing and maintaining documentation for Certification and Accreditation (C&A), developing system security policies, maintaining operational security posture, supporting the Information System Security Manager (ISSM), managing security aspects of systems, and serving as the Approval Authority for ISs.

Qualifications include ten (10) years' experience as an ISSO on similar programs, knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation, communication protocols, and encryption techniques/tools. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required, with four (4) years of additional experience substitutable. DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level II certification is required.

CLEARANCE REQUIRED: TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.

Other Requirements: U.S. Citizenship.
