The physicist will create software requirements for complex systems, ensure precise implementation, and develop algorithms to realize innovative solutions. They will oversee the development process from a developer’s perspective, collaborate with other departments, support system integration, and develop new solution patterns in coordination with internal and external partners. The role requires a background in physics (preferably with a PhD), experience with complex software systems, proficiency in simulation and software tools like Python, C++, Matlab, or similar, and practical experience in algorithm development for modeling, optimization, and data processing. Good knowledge of agile development processes, fluency in German, and very good English skills are also required.
