The Role
Our deeply experienced Veeva Commercial Architecture team helps our Life Sciences clients maximize their investment in the Veeva Commercial Cloud suite of applications. We act as advisors to key customer stakeholders and help them make good decisions on how to achieve strategic goals through the deployment of technology on a global scale. Veeva architects have overall responsibility for ensuring that Veeva applications are configured using best practices, and that they are integrated effectively into our customer’s wider commercial architecture.

As a Commercial Architect in the Veeva Systems Professional Services group, you will participate and lead in business process discussion, application design, and the creation of technical and end-user requirements for Veeva Commercial products. You will then collaborate with a variety of Customers, Vendors, and Veeva colleagues during projects to drive the delivery of high-quality solutions, and increase Customer Success.

Opportunities are available throughout Europe for this role as this is a remote position. There is no work location requirement if a candidate is in close proximity to an airport and able to meet travel requirements. Candidates within proximity to Veeva office will have the opportunity to work there if preferred.

What You'll Do
- This position is 20% project management, 20% strategic, 30% analysis, and 30% technical (drawing on technical, business and/or product knowledge in advanced configurations of Veeva applications)
- Participate and lead meetings with senior management and executives as the subject matter expert - simplifying complex technical architectures into language that makes sense to non-technical stakeholders
- Work with technical resources and translate high-level concepts and requirements into technical language for implementation
- Extend your subject matter expertise on the Life Sciences industry and Veeva solutions
- Provide mentorship to junior resources and support recruitment efforts
- Create high-quality assessments, application health checks, and commercial architectures to support solution design
- Demonstrate drive and determination to ensure customer success and complete tasks

Requirements
- Motivated self-starter capable of leading colleagues and clients through complexity to results
- 5+ years of consulting/architecture/data experience in life sciences, with projects involving multiple organizations
- Deep knowledge of Veeva CRM and exposure to other Veeva Commercial Cloud Applications (Vault Promomats, Vault MedComms, CRM Events, Network, Align, OpenData); experience with other vendor products is a plus
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to travel as required

- Knowledge of Business Process development, SOPs, Governance, and Program Management
- Experience with Data Warehousing, Web Services, ETL, SQL, Force.com, Integrations, Batch CSV, User Authentication
- Experience with software from vendors like IQVIA, SAP, CVENT
