The Factory Test team designs, builds, and operates the infrastructure needed to test nearly every part of Terran R at our headquarters in Long Beach, CA. The role involves developing detailed process plans, collaborating with design and test engineers, supporting technicians, troubleshooting issues, conducting Test Readiness Reviews, and maintaining capacity and demand plans. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, 4+ years of experience in manufacturing or test engineering for aerospace hardware, and hands-on experience supporting hardware builds. Familiarity with pressure systems, instrumentation, fluid systems, and manufacturing documentation is required. Nice-to-haves include experience with high-pressure fluid systems, CAD tools, PLM/ERP systems, and knowledge of quality management systems like ISO9001.
