As a Senior Panel Designer, you will lead complex panel design efforts for large scale industrial control systems, develop high-quality panel design documentation for manufacturing and installation, create and update drawings using AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN, perform panel power and heat calculations, support standardization initiatives and continuous improvement of design workflows, identify design risks and constructability concerns, and assist with estimating, project planning, and engineering coordination while mentoring junior designers and maintaining department standards.

As a Senior Panel Designer, you will lead complex panel design efforts for large scale industrial control systems, develop high-quality panel design documentation for manufacturing and installation, create and update drawings using AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN, perform panel power and heat calculations, support standardization initiatives and continuous improvement of design workflows, identify design risks and constructability concerns, and assist with estimating, project planning, and engineering coordination while mentoring junior designers and maintaining department standards.Requirements:<ul><li> 2-year technical associate degree</li><li> 10+ years’ experience as a designer/drafter</li><li> 5+ years’ experience in AutoCAD Electrical</li><li> 5+ years’ experience with NEC & UL 508A/698A</li><li> Strong understanding of industrial control panel design practices and electrical drafting standards</li><li> Proficiency with MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access, etc.)</li><li> Ability to interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, network architectures, and customer specifications/drawing plans</li><li> Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency</li><li> Advanced knowledge of drafting fundamentals including orthographic views, standard dimensioning practices, scaling plus English and metric units of measurement</li><li> Advanced knowledge of Eplan Pro Panel design fundamentals</li><li> Capable of reading and understanding customer requirements in the form of quotations and specifications</li><li> Ability to adapt in a fast-paced project-driven environment with shifting priorities and aggressive schedules</li><li> Ability to work independently remotely, in-office, or hybrid</li><li> Project management experience (preferred)</li><li> 5+ years’ experience in Eplan Pro Panel (preferred)</li><li> 5+ years’ experience leading and mentoring other team members (preferred)</li><li> EPlan experience with EEC, scripting, and macro development (preferred)</li><li> UL MTR Certified (preferred)</li><li> Experience building and/or installing control panels (preferred)</li><li> Experience developing and maintaining drafting and design standards, templates, and automation tools (preferred)</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li> Health coverage</li><li> Dental coverage</li><li> Vision coverage</li><li> Flexible Spending Account(s)</li><li> Generous PTO</li><li> Numerous culture events</li><li> ESOP</li><li> 401k matching</li></ul>
