The Trauma Registry Coordinator at Corewell Health is responsible for managing all components of the trauma registry and trauma informatics, including clinical case review, data retrieval, analysis, and presentation. The role involves interpreting clinical care, database administration, and promoting injury prevention through teaching, safety fairs, and community events. The coordinator identifies trauma activations, admissions, transfers, and deaths, manages the registry database based on NTDS standards, reviews clinical records across care continuum, and applies injury and diagnostic codes. They also identify performance improvement events, maintain registry software, coordinate data submissions, analyze benchmark reports, and support research and injury prevention initiatives. The role requires an associate's degree in nursing (bachelor's preferred), two years of relevant nursing experience, computer proficiency, teaching experience, and RN licensure in Michigan. The position is full-time, day shift, with scheduled hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
