Description
- The Wormhole Foundation is looking for a Crypto Production Engineer to improve the reliability, security, and operational excellence of its blockchain interoperability infrastructure.
- Responsibilities include acting as incident commander during production incidents, leading root cause analysis, building incident runbooks, responding to performance and pipeline outages, and strengthening observability and security.
- The role requires collaboration with engineering, DevOps, and validator partners to maintain at least 99.99% uptime, excluding scheduled maintenance.
- The ideal candidate has relevant qualifications or experience, familiarity with tools like Grafana, PagerDuty, GitHub, and experience with cloud environments such as AWS and GCP.
- Strong coding skills in Go, Rust, or Java, and experience with Kubernetes, security, and distributed systems are essential.
- The candidate should be proactive, independent, and able to operate in ET or GMT time zones.
