Description
- The PCI-ISO8583 team at Pismo, now part of Visa, manages global financial transactions from various card brands, ensuring security, reliability, and PCI DSS compliance.
- The role involves developing and maintaining applications with Golang or Java, designing scalable microservices, collaborating with engineering and product teams, leveraging AWS services such as SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, S3, and EventBridge, using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, writing tests, monitoring application health, participating in code reviews, and contributing to architectural discussions.
- This is a remote position, with the possibility of requiring presence at a Visa office with prior notice.
- The company, founded in 2016 and acquired by Visa in 2024, provides a cloud-based platform for banking and payment solutions, with over 500 employees across more than 10 countries.

Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
- 5+ years experience with Java or Golang.
- 2+ years experience with AWS.
- Strong experience with microservices architecture.
