Description
- Verra, a global non-profit organization, is looking for a Project Reviewer to assess project registration and verification requests across standards like VCS, CCBS, and SD VISta.
- The reviewer will evaluate project documents, assess conformance with program rules, and prepare review reports.
- The role requires expertise in carbon project development, auditing, or standard setting, and involves working with a diverse team of experts worldwide.
- The position is remote, with a minimum of 16 hours weekly, and offers compensation based on review rounds and sectoral scope.
- Responsibilities include assessing project descriptions, validation reports, monitoring reports, and verification reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- The organization emphasizes flexibility, autonomy, and a commitment to environmental and social challenges.

Requirements
- Experience in carbon project development, auditing, and/or standard setting.
- Deep technical expertise in at least one methodology used in the VCS Program.
- Experience in evaluating sustainable development, biodiversity, and community issues.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English.
