- The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple interrelated projects to ensure outcomes align with organizational strategy by designing and implementing program governance frameworks, translating strategy into program objectives and milestones, allocating resources and budgets, identifying and managing cross-project dependencies and risks, aligning executives and stakeholders, establishing program performance metrics, reporting progress and recommendations to senior leadership, leading organization-wide initiatives requiring cross-department coordination, guiding change management and adoption activities, maintaining program documentation (plans, decision logs, status reports), mentoring project managers and emerging leaders, and improving program and project management processes, tools, and standards.
