- As an Engineering Manager in the Database team, you will oversee teams responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining TimescaleDB, driving engineering excellence, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
- The role involves managing and mentoring engineers, overseeing project delivery, liaising with stakeholders, participating in hiring, and representing the team internally and externally.
- Candidates should have 2-4 years of experience in engineering management or senior technical leadership, working knowledge of database internals, experience with C/C++, and a proven track record in leading software development teams for database systems or similar products.
- Nice-to-have skills include experience with TimescaleDB, PostgreSQL, open-source contributions, and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
