The Knot Worldwide is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead analytics for the Vendor Experience Zone. As a senior individual contributor within our Data Science & Analytics organization, you'll operate with significant autonomy to define key metrics, build reporting, and drive analytical investigations that deliver clarity, alignment, and measurable impact for product managers, designers, and zone leaders.
Responsibilities include leading deep-dive analyses into performance trends, serving as a key analytics partner across teams, developing and maintaining metric definitions, building dashboards and reports, and ensuring data quality and best practices in analytics. The role requires collaboration with Data Science and Data Engineering teams, staying updated on source systems, and delivering actionable insights.
Successful candidates will have strong analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling skills, experience with behavioral event data, SQL, modern data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift), BI tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.), and 3–5 years of relevant experience.
This hybrid role is based near one of the company's office hubs, with a schedule starting September 15, 2025, working in-office two days a week. Requirements
Strong SQL skills and experience with modern data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
Proficiency with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Preset/Superset, Metabase, Tableau).
Experience with metrics layer tools (e.g., dbt metrics, LookML, Cube) in a governed reporting environment.
3–5 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a related data role.
Exceptional analytical thinking, problem-solving, and data storytelling skills.
Ability to operate with minimal direction while managing multiple priorities.
Experience working with or within a Product team, including partnering closely with product managers, familiarity working with behavioral event data (e.g., Segment), and defining product usage metrics.
