Description
- As an Android Engineer in Consumer Growth at Sword you’ll build experiences that turn initial interest into lasting engagement with consumer products across acquisition entry points, onboarding, subscription conversion, activation, and retention.
- You will implement subscription purchase flows, deep links and reliable navigation from web journeys, deliver controlled experiments via feature flags and analytics instrumentation, build reusable UI components and application foundations, and maintain app performance, accessibility, stability and responsive behavior across supported devices and Android versions.
- You will own features through implementation, testing, release, monitoring and iteration and collaborate closely with Product, Design, Data, Marketing and backend engineers.

Requirements
- Experience shipping and maintaining production Android applications
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin
- Experience building interfaces with Jetpack Compose
- Solid understanding of Android architecture, lifecycle management, coroutines, state management, and navigation
- Experience integrating APIs and handling loading, failure, and interrupted user journeys gracefully
- Experience with automated testing, debugging, and performance analysis
- Ability to instrument user journeys and use product data to inform engineering decisions
- Good product judgment and attention to interaction quality, accessibility, and user trust
- Ability to work across disciplines, communicate trade-offs, and own features from concept through production
- Practical experience using AI in your engineering workflow and critically reviewing its output
- Fluent English, written and spoken
