Description
- Supabase is the Postgres development platform and is seeking a FinOps Engineer to drive cost optimization and cloud financial governance across AWS and GCP.
- The role is hands-on engineering: identifying cost-savings opportunities, implementing fixes (including Terraform, Lambda, and scripting), building cost attribution (tagging, chargeback/showback), automating cost governance (reporting, anomaly detection, alerting), and partnering with engineering on architecture tradeoffs.
- The role also involves working with Finance on forecasting and building dashboards that both engineering and finance can read.
- The company is remote-first, open-source-focused, and globally distributed.
