Description
  • The Regional Sales Manager (Food) generates revenue utilizing a consultative selling approach by cultivating new business opportunities and developing long-term partnerships within the food industry.
  • Responsibilities include assessing customer needs, creating solutions based on SGS's product portfolio such as training, certification, ISO standards, and other schemes, and achieving sales targets to increase revenue.
  • The role involves developing and implementing business and marketing plans, expanding the customer base, maintaining a CRM database of leads, making recommendations, generating proposals, and participating in educational program development.
  • The position is 100% remote and requires maintaining accurate records, participating in marketing activities, and collaborating with support departments.
  • The role also includes ensuring safety, compliance with SGS policies, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in the TIC industry certification sales focused on the food industry
  • Experience with ISO standards
  • A true sales “hunter” with a “can’t fail” attitude driven to achieve sales goals
  • Resilient and persistent in closing deals
  • Advanced level of knowledge in English
  • Intermediate level of mathematical skills
  • Advanced reasoning skills/abilities
  • Technical selling skills and product knowledge in product sectors
  • Customer and commercial focus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to create rapport, credibility, and build successful business relationships
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to operate without close supervision
