Description
  • The International Sales Manager’s (ISM) main objective is to sell SGS’s Business Assurance (BA) portfolio of services to global/multinational companies.
  • SGS’s BA portfolio includes sustainability assurance, assessment, auditing, certification, medical devices compliance, supply chain assurance, digital trust assurance, consultation, and training.
  • The role involves developing a global sales strategy, winning exclusive contracts, managing negotiations, producing proposals, ensuring service capability, building relationships with SGS Business Managers and technical teams, delivering revenue targets, maintaining target client lists, following up on proposals, coordinating cross-business activities, communicating contract requirements, working with Global Key Account Managers, managing customer expectations, monitoring market activity, traveling for client meetings, attending trade shows, and operating ethically.
  • The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline, 5+ years of sales experience, extensive knowledge of TIC Certification Assurance, and fluency in English.
  • Additional skills include managing multiple projects, excellent communication, proposal accuracy, self-initiative, and proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce.
  • Travel of 20-50% is required.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales
  • Experience selling services to global/multinational companies
  • Extensive knowledge of TIC Certification Assurance business and products and/or detailed knowledge of target sectors
  • A hunter who has a creditable track record of identifying new sales opportunities and closing them
  • Fluency in English and the language of allocated territory; multiple language proficiency would be an advantage
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Highly developed presentation skills and ability to interact effectively with senior officials and management
  • Precise and accurate proposal issuance skills
  • Self-initiative, resource utilization, and time management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Salesforce CRM
  • Holds a full driver’s license
  • Ability to travel as required (20 – 50%)
