The VAT Analyst will be part of Remote's VAT Team within Finance, responsible for preparing and submitting VAT returns and related reports across multiple EMEA/APAC jurisdictions, reconciling VAT accounts and analysing discrepancies, ensuring invoice tax treatments comply with local law, managing e-invoicing compliance, assisting with VAT registrations and de-registrations, supporting VAT audits, monitoring legislative VAT changes, performing VAT number checks, and working with the tax technology team to ensure source data accuracy.
The role reports to the Senior Manager, VAT and is a 12-month fixed-term position prioritized for applicants in Europe and Africa.
The team operates asynchronously and fully remotely.
