- We are seeking a Strategic Finance Manager to amplify the impact of the finance organization across Raptor Maps. This highly visible, individual contributor role partners directly with the CFO on strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and special projects. Approximately 75% of your time will be spent on high-leverage, nonrecurring work, and 25% on recurring financial activities.

You are equally comfortable querying data, building financial models, preparing board materials, and driving cross-functional projects from start to finish. You thrive in ambiguity, balance detail with big-picture thinking, and communicate with clarity and influence at all levels of the organization.
- This role is an exceptional opportunity for someone aspiring to a future CFO, VP Finance, or other strategic leadership role. You’ll gain unmatched exposure to executive decision-making and cross-functional leaders while driving initiatives that directly impact company growth and industry transformation.
- Responsibilities include defining and executing initiatives with the CFO, partnering with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to develop tools and automation, supporting financial planning such as budgeting and forecasting, designing dashboards for real-time insights, and preparing strategic materials for the board and investors.
- Qualifications include 5+ years in finance, consulting, investment banking, private equity, or strategic/operational roles, with at least 2 years in a high-growth or scaling company. Candidates should have strong analytical skills, excellent communication, experience managing cross-functional projects, familiarity with accounting principles, and proficiency in Excel and SQL.
- The position offers a salary range of $140,000 - $185,000 per year, with a comprehensive benefits package including equity, health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), unlimited PTO, and more.

Requirements

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing materials for executives or investors.
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects and deliver measurable results.
- Familiarity with accounting principles; hands-on execution experience not required.
- Proficiency using Excel and SQL (or other coding/business intelligence tools).
