Description
  • The Senior Sales Account Manager at O-I is responsible for managing strategic accounts and driving business acquisition across all categories and channels.
  • The role emphasizes portfolio management, demand forecasting, inventory control, and logistics optimization to support sales growth and operational efficiency.
  • The candidate should have a deep understanding of operational processes, supply chain dynamics, and account management, ensuring seamless coordination between sales, inventory, and fulfillment to meet customer needs.
  • Responsibilities include developing and executing business strategies, demand planning, building and maintaining global key account relationships, driving sales performance, streamlining inventory and logistics operations, ensuring legal compliance and contract management, collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, finance, and operations, and monitoring KPIs to report to senior leadership.
  • The position is remote with approximately 50% travel.
  • Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business or related), at least 7 years of sales/management experience, experience with multinational companies in Canada and the US, proficiency in CRM and SAP, and bilingual skills in French and English are preferred.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent discipline (highly preferred).
  • 7 years of sales/management experience.
  • Experience working with a multinational company with sales in Canada and the United States.
  • Experience with Key Account Management Programs.
  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development within consumer products, logistics, or related industries.
  • Strong operations background with expertise in supply chain, inventory management, and fulfillment processes.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Experience working with global key accounts and managing high-value client relationships.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, SAP, or other enterprise sales and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic planning skills.
  • Bilingual in French and English (preferred).
