- The Software Product Owner acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring that clinical and practice management software meets business goals and the needs of ABA clinics and specialty schools.
- Responsibilities include defining and prioritizing the product backlog, designing features, shepherding products from concept to release, and exceeding customer expectations.
- The role involves leading development of billing, claims, eligibility verification, payment posting, and denial management workflows, with a focus on integrating AI solutions and third-party systems.
- The candidate will serve as an internal expert on ABA billing compliance, HIPAA, and payer rules, and will work on optimizing KPIs such as clean claim rates, days in receivables, and denial rates.
- Additional responsibilities include roadmap management, stakeholder communication, and continuous process improvement.
- The role requires collaboration with offshore teams, ensuring quality standards, and staying current with industry trends.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar role in software development.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and experience working in Agile teams.
- Ability to write clear and detailed design specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with Jira or similar product management tools.
- Strong technical background (computer science, engineering, or similar).
- Ability to coordinate multi-national and offshore teams.
