Description
- Mirantis is looking for an experienced Principal DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of customer infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
- The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system performance, scalability, and security, mentoring junior engineers, and driving automation initiatives.
- Responsibilities include designing and deploying infrastructure on various cloud providers and bare metal, managing Kubernetes clusters, developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring environments, and contributing to knowledge bases.
- The candidate will work with distributed international teams, facilitate knowledge transfer, and continuously improve tooling and technologies.
- Qualifications include proven DevOps experience, automation skills, Linux, Kubernetes, containerization (Docker, Helm), scripting (Bash, Groovy, Python, Go), and excellent communication skills.
- Preferred experience includes AI/ML lifecycle, OpenStack, and at least 5 years in a similar role.

Requirements
- Proven experience in DevOps engineering
- Solid IT automation experience
- Solid knowledge of Linux OS, storage, and networking
- Background in microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Solid knowledge in Kubernetes and related tools
- Practical experience in application containerization: Docker, Helm
- Practical experience in Bash/Groovy/Python/Go programming (at least one language)
- Excellent English language skills - written and oral
- Excellent customer-facing communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed for business requirements and onsite project delivery
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 5 years of DevOps experience or in a similar role
